A 23-minute interview, well worth your time:

Dr. Sproul’s book, Abortion: A Rational Look at an Emotional Issue, has been re-released on its 20th anniversary. You can read the foreword, table of contents, and first chapter here.

Here are links to an older online video series from Dr. Sproul on what he calls “the number one ethical issue that this nation has ever faced.”

  1. Michael says:

“Also do not mistreat or do violence to the stranger, the orphan, or the widow; and do not shed innocent blood in this place.”- Jer. 22:33

  2. John says:

I read a pdf of the new release of Dr. Sproul’s book and thought it was great. The review will be on Discerning Reader next week for the anniversary of R v W.

  3. I think Sproul is right on about looking at the world view that justifies abortion as being more morally wicked than that of the Nazis.

The Liberal world view that justifies abortion does so by dehumanizing all of humanity not just an ethnic group like the Nazis did.

  4. “I’ve been a theologian, spent my whole life studying theology and teaching theology, and I can tell you, if I know anything at all about God, I know that God hates abortion; and I know that He will not tolerate this forever.” – R.C. Sproul

I would like to show this video in my Sunday School ladies class (cannot access the internet Sunday AM) but unable to find this as a downloadable file. Can you help? I did contact Ligonier. Thanks, Loys

    1. Justin Taylor says:

Yes. All it requires is a Vimeo account which is free to create.

Then log in, go to the video page, and halfway down the page on the right side will be the link “download this video.”

Right click on that link and choose “Save As.”
