An excellent video, even as it illustrates the primary fixation we seem to place on the wedding ceremony itself, not the focus of the passage in Ephesians which is erotic love. A conspicuous aspect of The Song of Songs is its absence of a definitive wedding ceremony, such that some commentators doubt whether the lovers are even married. Even so, their passionate love for each other is unmistakable. Perhaps the mystery would be captured better with a bedroom scene. This seems to me what the apostle is getting at, even as it relates to our relationship with Christ.
