2. Daniel Webster – As the UK Votes “In” Or “Out” On the EU, Christians Have Two Tasks. A good word from the UK’s Evangelical Alliance on how Christians who disagree on this vote can move forward in unity.
3. Mollie Hemingway – The New York Times Claims “Romans” Calls for the Execution of Gays. For a long time, Mollie has said that biblical illiteracy among journalists is a problem. Here’s one of the most egregious examples.
4. Wyatt Graham – The Complementarian Trinity Debate: A Summary of Its Beginning. A good overview of why complementarian Christians have suddenly taken up debating the relationship of the Father to the Son.
5. Mary Eberstadt – The First Church of Secularism and Its Sexual Sacraments. The fundamental impulse leading to the penalizing of moral traditionalists today is not libertarian. It is instead neo-puritanical — that is, it is aimed at safeguarding its own body of revealed and developed truths, and at marginalizing, silencing, and punishing competitors.
