Kindle Deal: 3 Perspectives on Our Struggle with Sin in Romans 7$2.99.

Seven of the best articles I came across this week:

1. James Kushiner – Infidelity and Fidelity: Keep Calm, Carry On, Even If It’s Satan’s Hour. We may be hated, but if it is for the sake of Christ’s name, let us have no anxiety and be of good cheer as we take his light into the darkness. This is the age God has chosen for us.

2. Finding Our Voice: Why the Decline of Congregational Singing Matters and How to Fix It. Excellent reporting from Bob Smietana and great suggestions for how to recapture a vital part of our worship.

3. How Writing Changed Marvin Olasky’s Life. Good interview with the once Communist, now Christian editor and writer.

4. Kelefa Sanneh – Intellectuals for Trump. A rogue group of conservative thinkers tries to build a governing ideology around a President-elect who disdains ideology.

5. Sarah Eekhoff Zylstra – The Exponential Growth of Classical Christian Education. This movement centered on three biblical ideas: truth, goodness, and beauty.

6. The Grave of David Rice Atchison, the man who was technically the U.S. president for a day in 1849.

7. George Guthrie – Why You Can and Can’t “Do All Things Through Him Who Strengthens” You. A good explanation of an often misquoted verse in Philippians.
